  • Experience the monitors on display at CES 2019 from booth #15006

“Samsung’s latest monitor lineup is incredibly versatile, and demonstrates our commitment to continued innovation and leadership in the category,” said Seog-gi Kim, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “All of these monitors are part of our larger strategy this year, to keep giving you choices so you can get what you want— beautiful, hardworking devices that inspire you to do more.”

Whether you work in a crowded office or need more room on your desk at home, the Space Monitor is a cool new space-saving solution. A fully-integrated arm clamps to the desk to help free up space so you can adjust the screen back and forth. The unique arm stand can fold away and disappear behind the monitor for a sleek desk layout.

One of the best features is the integration of the HDMI and power cords through the arm for easy access. No more bending over backwards for cable management. Literally…

Samsung’s Space Monitor comes in both the 27-inch model and the 32-inch model. The 27-inch offers QHD resolution while the 32-inch model offers 4K UHD.

Also announced ahead of CES is Samsung’s CRG9 Gaming Monitor. The world’s first high-resolution super ultra-wide gaming monitor with 32:9 aspect ratio.

For serious gamers, the CRG9 has serious features to help with improved play.

To start the monitor offers a 120Hz refresh rate with a fast 4ms response time on a 49-inch display that minimizes image lag and motion blur. The monitor also features AMD Radeon FreeSync™ 2 HDR technology to reduce stutter, screen tearing and input latency.

When it comes to visibility, the features are even stronger. The CRG9 has dual QHD resolution (5120×1440) and HDR10 with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, so even the darkest parts of the game are visible.

“Equivalent to two 27-inch QHD 16:9 monitors placed side-by-side, the 32:9 super ultra-wide screen also provides ultimate multitasking flexibility assisted by PBP (Picture-by-Picture) functionality to allow two video sources to be viewed on the same screen.”

That’s right, this screen is so big you can essentially watch 2 HD movies side by side. Whether you are editing video and need more space to see different clips, or just want to browse the web in-between games, having that much space is useful!

World’s First 32-inch Curved 4K UHD Designed for Content Creators

The third new monitor announced by Samsung is the UR59C. No less impressive than the space monitor or the CRG9, the UR59C is a curved 4K UHD monitor for content creators.

This monitor is designed to reduce the eye strain typically associated with long periods of monitor use. The 32-inch monitor features full 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution with support for up to one billion colors.

For color grading and photo editing, this is a great monitor to help you fully visualize all the colors and details.
