I am Panagiotis Koutroumpis a.k.a @Goatherd_K https://www.instagram.com/goatherd_k/ and I have been roaming the streets of Athens and the world since 2016 creating signature images of how I view the world through my camera and through my editing style.
Lately, I have been experimenting with some new looks that remind me the days I was shooting with my old SLR camera and I am trying to reproduce some of this grainy film look on my portrait and street shots
“Nostalgia” 38 Lightroom pack is the result of this experimentation and I am now proud to share it with you. I hope this will be a great starting point and an inspiration to help you also experiment with your editing style the way I am.
The zipped folder includes 38 xmp files (presets) and an installation guide to help you use the presets in Desktop versions of LR Classic and LR CC and also guide you on how to be able to use them also in your mobile LR app.
The 38 presets are are split in categories to help you choose the kind of shot each one best suits.
- After Dark – for a cinematic kind of look
- Black Forest – cold and de-saturated
- Bleach & Grain – high doses of grain and overexposure will make your shots look kind off “old school”
- Colors – adding tints of different color on your shots
- Grey Goose – dropping saturation in different levels while retaining punchy looks
- Orange Juice -playing with some strange orange tint
- PH 5.5 -for natural looking portraits
- Strawberry leaves -if green and ping is your thing
The presets will not automatically work on any photo since white balance, exposure, highlights and shadows may differ from file to file. Still – provided your pictures are shot in RAW format – you can select the preset that best suits your shot and then work from this base to a result that will best please you.
TIP: the easiest way to adjust the presets on your pics is by using the exposure and the White Balance sliders on the lightroom version you are using, whenever you feel this is required.
ENJOY your edits!!
