I have been working on these presets for many weeks, trying to get accurate colors by using a colorchecker and adjusting the color differences (of course on a color-calibrated screen) in Lightroom.
All negatives have been scanned by the photolab with a Noritsu Qss-32, except the presets „Portra 400 LESS“, that have been DSLR scanned and converted with Negative Lab Pro. I decided for the addition „less“, because they are a bit less saturated and different colors than the ones from the photolab.
The numbers „0“ and „+1“ in the preset name indicate the difference between a proper exposure ( = 0 ) and one stop overexposed ( = +1 ). I decided for those 2 variants, because film normally needs a bit of overexposure and by doing this, colors change as well.
8 presets are included in this package:
– Ektar 100 +1 („Noritsu-scanner-like“)
– Ektar 100 0 („Noritsu-scanner-like“)
– Portra 400 +1 („Noritsu-scanner-like“)
– Portra 400 0 („Noritsu-scanner-like“)
– Portra 400 less +1 („DSLR-scanned-like“)
– Portra 400 less 0 („DSLR-scanned-like“)
– Portra 800 +1 („Noritsu-scanner-like“)
– Portra 800 0 („Noritsu-scanner-like“)
