Originally announced in late 2018 under the code name of Project Gemini, Adobe has finally opened up about their latest project – Adobe Fresco. Adobe Fresco will be the next big thing for artists and specifically painters across the globe.

Adobe is set to bring watercolor, and life-like oil painting to your tablet. The program is currently only available for Apple iPad and Apple Pencil, but while it is still in beta, it has impressed reviewers from all over. Let’s take a look at some more details about the new software!

Adobe Fresco – Realistic Painting for Your iPad

Adobe’s latest installment of software comes with more than we could have imagined. Not only are we able to now have the ability to paint at our fingertips, but we are able to do it in a natural, realistic way, allowing you really to bring your studio anywhere with you; and with less mess.

Built for the latest stylus and touch devices, Adobe Fresco brings together the world’s largest brush collection with revolutionary new technology to deliver a natural painting and drawing experience. For artists, illustrators, animators, sketchers, and anyone who wants to discover — or rediscover — the joy of drawing and painting.

Adobe Fresco will offer 1,000 + brushes and will also include Adobe Sensei for live brushes. Adobe Sensei offers incredible life-like brush strokes so you will feel like you are really using a brush on canvas, not just a finder or stylus on an iPad – something that has deterred many artists in the past. You also now have the option to customize your User Interface to make sure that all of the controls and settings are just how YOU want it. Because at the end of the day – your workflow is most important.

With Adobe Fresco, you’ll now have a studio that travels with you, and with no mess.

Adobe Fresco is currently being offered for pre-registration, but Adobe has since announced that the software will be FREE once it is released to the public.
