“Created for Creators”

The Atomos Shinobi is a monitor that was created specifically for “vloggers, creatives, and photographers”. At $399, it is an investment worth making if you are shooting professional quality short films, educational videos, entertainment shorts, and so much more.

Shinobi features a ‘run all day’ single battery with up to 12 hours at 7800mAh (operating power) on standby and up to 6 hours at 7800mAh when monitoring.

The monitor has a new selfie Mirror Mode for vloggers and a new multi-tool Analysis View that’s going to make cinematographers’ lives a whole lot easier. You can simultaneously see what you are shooting, view a waveform, and view a histogram and vectorscope, to ensure complete control of your image and color quality.

Realtime LUTs Preview

Our favorite feature? The realtime LUTs preview of course! According to Atomos, you can:

“Apply and compare looks for post-production in SDR or HDR from your favourite LUTs for your camera. The Shinobi allows you to load up to eight custom LUTs at anytime via the SD Card Slot and instantly select between them, maintaining creative intent at all times.”
