Fashion and editorial photographer Adam Katz Sinding has teamed up with MENDO to publish their first fashion book, and needless to say – it is NOT a f*cking street style book. In fact, it is much more than that.
The publisher states, “Made by MENDO, This is NOT a F*cking Street Style Book is the first monograph of cult photographer and influencer, Adam Katz Sinding (aka Le 21ème), an astute documentarian of major fashion events, top brands, tastemakers, and trendsetters since 2003.”
With words from Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s newest Head of Menswear design, and photographs of some of fashion’s most famous icons, Sinding has surely put together an incredible pice of art that will be remembered for decades.
His ability to capture subjects in sincere moments while showing their true emotion and character every time is always distinct and recognizable, whether shooting street fashion or taking photos on the runway.
Flipping through the pages of Mendo’s premiere fashion book, Sinding’s photos draw you in and keep you enticed, waiting to see what the next photo will be and provoke you to wonder how he composed his shots while in such a fast-paced environment.
Whether shooting in the street or indoors, Katz Sinding is never just shooting “street-style” or fashion. To him it is much more than that and it shows through his work. Rather than taking photos of the fashion that he enjoys and the styles around him, Sinding is able to capture culture and document the trends of fashion’s most ambitious figures.
